I’m back from a fantastic Comic Con and Los Angeles trip. Lots of wonderful stuff to report and reflect on, but the big news was the announcement that GHOST PROJEKT was picked up by the SyFy Network. Plans include a 2-hour premiere special and I’ve had some nascent discussions regarding things. The direction and particulars are still coming together, but it’s all very exciting… and highly gratifying.
GHOST PROJEKT, as you must know if you follow this space, is the renowned 2010 supernatural thriller miniseries I created for Oni Press with Steve Rolston. We were named “Best Miniseries” of the year by Wizard and the film/television development front for this property has been hot and active since we first announced it back in 2008. So happy it’s landed at SyFy (along with Cullen Bunn and Brian Hurtt’s Oni book, THE SIXTH GUN).
Keep watching this space. I’m hopeful I’ll have plenty to report as these weeks and months wind on…
As for this other detail Bleeding Cool reports:
I also understand that Oni has an even bigger deal for a feature film with Warners, linked to Harry Potter producers, over as yet unannounced comic book property.
I have no comment… no comment at all. :)
