I’m going to be in Seattle next week for a slew of awesome events and reveals, kicking things off with Image Expo on Wednesday, April 6th and continuing through the wonderful Emerald City Comicon April 7-10.
Not much I can say about what we’re unveiling at the Expo yet, but I just finished my first interview for it and I am absolutely bouncing off the walls with excitement to finally get this new series out there and talked about. The Image press release has details on the physical event at the Showbox in Seattle, as well as the afterparty to follow.
From there, it’s on to Emerald City Comicon at the Washington State Convention Center. For the most part, you can find me at:
ARTIST ALLEY BOOTH # CC4
I’m sharing the table with my new-Image-title-to-be-revealed-collaborator, Megan Hutchison on Saturday and Sunday (it’ll be just me Thursday and Friday) and should have a big compliment of stuff on hand including…
This limited, signed/numbered THE X-FILES print by my collaborator, Matthew Dow Smith ($20) and this extremely limited SNOWFALL #1 print by Martín Morazzo and Tom Muller ($20).
I’ll also have lots of the newly released hardcover collection of THE X-FILES: SEASON 11, VOLUME 1 on hand, SNOWFALL issues, some scripts, GREAT PACIFIC trades and more I’m too forgetful to list at the moment.
I’m also taking part in the following signings and panels:
THURSDAY, April 7
5:00 PM — SPECIAL SIGNING (details to be announced)
7:00 PM — PANEL
IMAGE COMICS: WHERE CREATORS OWN STYLE
Style is what gives comics their swing, whether through visuals or dialogue. What kind of story are you telling? How cool is it? Joe Harris (SNOWFALL), Emi Lenox (PLUTONA), Riley Rossmo (RASPUTIN), Amy Clare (ISLAND), Steve Lieber (THE FIX), and a few special guests know all about style. Come and pick their brains and find out how to make comics sing (ROOM T304).
SUNDAY, April 10
10:00 AM SIGNING at the Image Comics booth with Megan Hutchison and Kelly Fitzpatrick
Can’t wait to see you all there!
